We started with a simple idea.
A bikini is not just a bikini. It is the postcard you bring home. It is the summer that stays on your skin a little longer. It is that moment when the sun drops over Cala Varques and you linger a while, even though the water has gone cold.
Kaluca was born in Mallorca, between two friends who were tired of searching for the bikini they couldn’t find. One that fits properly. That survives saltwater and a beach bar. That looks good with wet hair and with dry hair. That doesn’t become something else when you walk into the sea.
Each piece, a place.
That is why every one of our bikinis is named after a place. Mallorca, of course. But also Capri, Santorini, Bali, Tulum, Cadaqués. Places that shaped us, places we would visit again, places some of us don’t know yet but can already imagine.
It is a way of saying: the garment is the least important thing. What matters is the summer you are going to live wearing it.
Made slowly.
We don’t make infinite collections. We make drops. Small, considered, finite capsules. Thirty pieces per season. When they’re gone, they’re gone. That is what allows us to maintain care in every detail: the quality of the fabric, the shape of the cut, the exact right tone of each colour.
We work with a workshop on the island. We test the patterns ourselves. We choose the colours by hand. There is no algorithm saying «this one sells better.» There is a Saturday afternoon with golden light and an idea that suddenly makes sense.
Real woman, real size.
Kaluca sizes are XS, S, M, L. But fit is what matters. Every style is tried on different bodies, not on mannequins. If something doesn’t work for you, write to us — we want to know. We improve the next drop with that information.

If we had to sum up Kaluca in one sentence, it would be that. Bikinis made slowly, in a place that knows how to live slowly. For women who have already understood that summer is not a destination. It is a way of moving.
